  Are you sure that its not coming from a leak at the junction of the
dipstick tube  tranny case?   There is an o-ring on the tube that is
suppose to seal it.

The triangular pad is brazed on by the manufacturer. If it is actually leaking 
between the pad and the pan then you are going to need to pull and replace.
Sometimes the dipstick can leak if improperly installed or if it has a bad 
o-ring. Make sure that isn't your problem first.Godspeed, Dan SolomonIt is a
