RE: [Chevelle-list] PAW question

2003-09-10 Thread John Nasta

For the record, I did not mean to imply otherwise. The physical
reality though is that it's much faster to get a ground package from OH to VA
than it is from CA to PA. I really don't know anything about PAW, but you
should be able to contact them and they should be able to tell you the status
of your order if you are concerned. Personally, knowing what I know about
shipping, I would not assume that there is necessarily a problem. Hopefully you
will receive it shortly.

Oops, sorry, they are in OH. Still OH to VA is a much
shorter trip. Anything that has to cross the Rocky Mountains takes a week by
ground.

5 days is really not a long time
for a company in CA to get something to PA, unless you paid extra for 2-day or
overnight service.

I've
had pretty good luck with Scoggin-Dickey.  Everything makes it up to
Anchorage in a reasonable amount of time.  The only problem I've ever had
was in the packing.  My B&M stall converter was sent in it's original
packaging, and the box took a helluva beating.  I would have expected it to
be packaged within another box.

Yes thanks for your sympathy, maybe they will come soon. Its amazing they dont even have an e-mail address you can follow up on parts. I have been a loyal customer to Sumitt and they confirm everything from order to shipping and fast as well. But I needed a hot shot kit and Summit didnt have one...so went to PAW. But I will see
