[Chevelle-list] Vent Windows
Can anyone give me directions for changing the weatherstriping around the vent window on a 65 Malibu? Any special tools or hardware needed? I have both assemblies out of the doors. Thanks. Bob 65 Malibu 85 El Camnio 05 Ultra Classic

No special tools needed. It really is pretty easy to do. Getting the assemblies out of the door is the hardest part. The wind whistle is annoying, but not annoying enuff to make me start the change. Maybe this winter? Don't you just hate that. I then went to the hardware store and got some 1/8 foam stickey backed weatherstrip, the 1/4 wide stuff on a roll, it is used to seal doors in a house. a year later i still haven't heard a peep out of it.
