If you call them mad and there smoke coming from
there end of the phone line, nothing good well happen. A company can not have an
ad stating a price and not honor it. It is against the law. Be nice on the
phone. If the person does not responded, ask for Ken or the Sale Manager. If the
Sale Manager does not agree, tell his that it is against the law to advertise a
price and not honor it. Make sure you print out the web page with some kind of
proof of date. Do not get mad over the phone at anytime, it will not work. Be
nice and cool.Do not make threats even if you right.

I agree with Steve. Call first, they most likely
charged you the regular price and not the special. If they overcharged, they
should call your bank to correct any problems.
The web states:
DELUXE WEATHERSTRIP KIT 1964-72 CHEVELLE COUPE
(CLICK FOR CONTAINS) DLX. KIT HAS (2)DOOR (2)ROOFRAIL (1)TRUNK (8)WINDOW FELTS (2)U JAMB RUBBERS (2)1/4 GLASS SEALS

The price they chargedmust be an error. Slow

a discount when I pick items up at these swap meets, and get free shipping on

account.

MaybeI
am reading something wrong- go to their website and check this crap out:

Under
specials, then Chevelles, theres a Deluxe weatherstip kit, including all door
seals, roofrails, quarter seals,u-jambs, trunkWITH an 8 piece
felt Does it say that the felt kit is an UPGRADE and they are going to
charge you more, and zap your card, without letting me know??? NO IT DOESN'T.
Strange that my invoice saved from the online order states $169.00 total.
The kit is due to arrive Thursday,,, should I send it all back, or demand a
refund?? Anyone else have this problem with this company??

BTW, I do have some objection to this statement. I have only been on
this list since the summer, but I don't know of anybody from Ground Up
helping this list in any way during that time. OTOH, I think I was
the first person to send money to Keith (that's not why I did it either), and I
also have answered many a mechanical question here. I am not saying that you're
wrong Al, but what exactly do they do to help this list? I
personally haven't noticed anything. I'm just curious.

Ground Uphas helped to support this mailing
list, no other company does, even those that put their business in the
signature line on every email.

Jeez, it was just a tongue-in-cheek thing, and I did say
that she should call them before I said that.

John, I think
you may have been a little out of line by shaming Sam for patronizing the
business of a list non-Member. As Al points out,
Ground Up supports this site, and deserves at least a fair opportunity to make
things right with Sam.
