RE: [Chevelle-list] First Show
Let me know the next time you'll be in Anchorage. We'll have to get together, and head down to the raceway or something. If it's in the summer, that is. Elsewise, we can drink a few beers, and BS about our cars! By the looks of your address you are in ALASKA? I'm a C-130 Loadmaster and we fly up there from time to time. I also own a 1970 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. I hear you are having some great weather up there. Enjoy! I entered my first show this past weekend. There weren't any prizes or places given out, so I guess it was more of a display. I figured I'd be kinda out of place, but after arriving and getting my baby set up, I felt right at home next to some of the other classics. It was great to have other enthusiasts and several hundred people ogle over my Chevelle. What a great feeling. I guess this is what it's all about! By the way, for those that may be wondering, I managed to get that back seat out, and install the seatbelts so the whole family could attend! Good times! SARGE

It's nicer to relax and ogle at all the other cars there instead of people picking your car apart. Tom
