Well I read the fine print and found out my blast cabinet wants a diet of 12
SCFM at 40 to 80 PSI and the best my Craftsman 6 HP, 135 PSI unit will come
up with is a tad over 6.4 at 80. Looks like I'm hosed.

Hey Tony
If you can swing it I really would suggest getting a 220 two stage
compressor. If we didn't have two single stage compressors dad would have
bought one by now. And do yourself a favor and don't get an oiless
compressor!!! They are majorly loud. I will say that the Coleman unit we
have is pretty nice. Although the stupid control switch is leaking... :o(
We just haven't gotten one to replace it yet...

Hope to see ya in June!

JJ:

I think I am leaning exactly to the compressor you recommend. I have a buddy in the
AACA checking down a wild goose for me that may actually have one I can get for a
reasonable sum. It's probably ancient, but heck, if it is sound, it will work for me.

JJ fig. I have a Coleman BlackMax 220v 6HP 60Gal tank. The air bleed off
tube to the HV switch has leaked on occasion. Remove it and blow out the
line. It well stop the problem. a small peice of scale is lodged in it.
This is what the teck told me to do on the 1-800 help line a few years ago.

I checked at Harbor Freight and they have a couple there that either meet
or
come real close for about $425. Looks like I'll get one of those and see
if
somebody wants an almost new 110 volt Craftsman for a reasonable sum.
