Not to beat it to death, but why, Oh why;
If they could get the order billed correctly, could they not ship it?

I think all the businesses we order from try and do a good job of shipping
our order. I also think it's like any other business, who's filling the
order, did he have a fight with his wife / girlfriend that morning, are his
kids in trouble, did something significant happen in his life. I sure am not
sticking up for them because I know the feeling of getting the wrong parts
and the frustration of fighting on the phone with some knuckle head who
could care less if you have the right parts. He's more worried about what he
is going to do after work. But I gotta tell you, OPG is one of the better
companies I've dealt with. It's too bad they won't confrim your order with
say an e-mail or fax. That way you would at least have proof of what you
ordered. Just my 2 cents.

Darrell;
If you stop by OPG again, they owe me money, maybe you'll have better
luck getting it. I've had good luck with John Nasta, Old Car Network. His
Prices are comparable and his shipping is very fair. I'm sure they're
others on the Chevelle Team. Just my two cents.

My brother & I recently placed an order for 7 items from OPG.
While the order was billed correctly, 4 items shipped were wrong, & 1 wasn't
shipped at all. In addition, the shipping address was incorrect, & the
stuff traveled all over Tucson for several days before it was located &
delivered.
When Bruce called OPG to report the mistakes, the sales rep on the telephone
insisted it was his fault & OPG had no responsibility to correct THEIR

I know this topic has been beat in the past, but I wanted to get a feel for
where people are buying their parts and who's getting the best prices.

I was in Huntington Beach, CA last week and was able to visit both Original
Parts Group's and Classic Industries' showrooms. They both charge
outrageous shipping rates and I though I might save some freight charges on
some door panels. I ended up not getting the panels (although I picked up a
few other odds and ends).

Anyway, has anyone done a recent interior restoration and shopped around for
the best prices? I've pretty much spent money at all the big ones over the
years: Year One, Ausley's, Ted Williams, OPG, NPD. Are there any new kids
on the block hungry for our business selling PUI stuff for less? I haven't
shopped around lately and was hoping someone could share their recent
experiences. I'm also looking for bumpers. Who's best for repro bumpers?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Darrell,
Try Muscle Factory.
http://musclefact.com
They have very well priced complete kits. Door panels (un-assembled) are
priced $125.00 a set, includes front and back. They also offer alot of thing
I haven't seen elsewhere. Hope it helps.
