of a problem getting DSL on SBCGLOBAL due to being over 17,000 ft from the
terminal! If they are the problem I guess I'll have to live with it!

 

I used to get these messages consolidated and now I get each one separate.

I didn't have any problem until I got the new computer with Vista and Windows 
Email on it. I think I finally got most of that fixed, still have a glitch ever 
now and then. Not sbcglobal fault.

before the [EMAIL PROTECTED]  They didn't even get the
address right!  Loosers...

Your virus scanner won't stop this stuff.  It's called
spoofing.  Your email address was farmed from
somewhere and is being spoofed (placed) into the from
field of the email. Then on gets sent spam, viruses,
etc.

It happens.  I've gotten return messages like these at
work, home, wherever.  Any email address that is
posted in its entirety on the web is at risk. (note,
every email sent to this list is posted on the web in
the chevelles.net archive):

Notice that the address the message was sent had '3D'
before the [EMAIL PROTECTED]  They didn't even get the
address right!  Loosers...

Your virus scanner won't stop this stuff.  It's called
spoofing.  Your email address was farmed from
somewhere and is being spoofed (placed) into the from
field of the email. Then on gets sent spam, viruses,
etc.

It happens.  I've gotten return messages like these at
work, home, wherever.  Any email address that is
posted in its entirety on the web is at risk. (note,
every email sent to this list is posted on the web in
the chevelles.net archive):

 Totally different format- BUT  IIRC there are vcr's that can play both.
 Also, there is the option to cap it and convert to VCD or AVI or MPG.
 In fact I have all the software loaded ready to go.  ;)
