Re: [Chevelle-list] what is a smuggler box?
That's correct; the smugglers box is not big enough for the spare tire. But it is just big enough for the battery, Airride tank and compressor, and a bottle of nitrous :) Tom Tomlinson - Original Message - From: Dave Studly To: 'The Chevelle Mailing List' Sent: Monday, May 09, 2005 1:46 PM Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] what is a smuggler box? So, are you guys saying that this came standard on El Caminos from 64-67, or are you saying that this is a popular conversion? I know that my 69 is not set up that way.

Re: [Chevelle-list] what is a smuggler box?
I have to agree, my '64 is in the bed about a foot from the back window. A cover comes off and is a compartment in there. About a foot wide foot deep and full across the width of the bed. I am sure someone has a photo. Kelly In a message dated 5/8/2005 8:30:49 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: That is correct,Ron.
