ok, let's see how to do that...

:)

Hi Valentina.
I just read your message and I've visited your site. You tell me that you
can help translate. The truth is it would be great, because my English is
very bad, as you can see (and thanks to google translate).
It would be great to have some help.
We talked.

Hi Jeff
Sorry, but there is no English version. In fact, I started writing the web
with all the manuals translated (mostly English) to learn how to use
Cinelerra.

Thank you very much Raffaela for fixed de link.

Saludos.

[CinCV] Problems compiling the new CinelerraCV 2.1.5

2010-11-24 Thread Oriol Corbella
Hello everybody and congratulations for the new version of CinelerraCV!

I'm running on a Ubuntu 10.10 64-bits. I'm trying to compile the new
CinelerraCV 2.1.5 by the Grandma's tutorial, and everything goes fine,
except when I do the final step "sudo checkversion" (or "sudo make install"
also), that it gives me this error:

install -d "/usr/local/include/libavdevice"
> install: can't change permissions for «/usr/local/include/libavdevice»: No
> such file or directory
> make[2]: *** [install-headers] Error 1
> make[2]: Leaving directory
> `/home/oriol/Vídeos/cinelerra-cv/quicktime/ffmpeg'
> make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/oriol/Vídeos/cinelerra-cv/quicktime'
> make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
>

What do you guess to fix this problem?

Thanks everybody!

Almost same here. Ubuntu x86_64 10.10 (Intel/NVidia-based).

All seems to be working fine until I render a simple test project. At
the 100% point Cinelerra crashes, leaving an incomplete output file
(AVI, rendering both video and audio at 1280X720). Most of the time the
resulting file has audio but no video.

Yes. I can confirm that crashing. Ogg/Theora works, btw.

Best Regards Asmo Koskinen.

Hi.

There is some problem with '/usr/local/include/libavdevice'. Try to
remove it if it exists or create if it does not exist.
It must be a directory.

[CinCV] What happened to the several desktops

2010-11-24 Thread Douglas Pollard
Hi All, I am using Ubuntu 10.04 with Cinelerra. I just got back to
working with Cinelerra after a long time. In Ubuntu you used to be able
to set up three or four desktops. This allowed a different incidence of
Cinelerra on a couple of the desktops. I just opened a second incidence
of her and it landed on top of the one I am using. That is not to
handy. How is everyone dealing with this. I have been looking but have
not seen a way to add alternate desktops in ubuntu now. Thanks for any
help. Doug

Have you tried the config such as
--disable-mmx --enable-opengl
mmx is failing all the time and from what I understand you will get much better
with sse2 etc ... so not a real issue.
But developpers might correct me on this one
Cheers

Hi Einar,
That was the problem. I deleted /usr/local/include/libavdevice and then
recompiles Cinelerra. It was like I had this file broken.

Very much thanks, bye.

This solved my questions. AVI doesn't like H.264, etc. Have a look at
the listings of successful renders he has (second graphic). That solved
