RE: How do I set up Windows DHCP for multiple VLANS? [7:5490]
You can do that easily. I am serving 50 Vlans with one DHCP server. Use the Ip helper command on your interface to point to the DHCP server and configure all the scopes on the DHCP server and it will work fine. RE: 3620 problem
Hello, I just faced a funny problem with a 3640 when I did the xmodem to put the image, after I finish everything and reture the router back to its original situation , I tried to modify the register back to 9600 but the router never accept it. I tried in different ways either by the config-register or from the RMON to modify the baudrate of the console port but never worked. The router insist on the 115.2Kbps. I am not sure it is IOS bug or what? I put 12.05(T) on the router. Did anybody face this before? Regards, Anan -Original Message- From: Brad Ellis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, October 07, 2000 7:20 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: 3620 problem xmodem download the new code via a console cable. you might want to change your config-reg to support 115.2kbps (it speeds the process up quite a bit). send down a small IOS (IP feature set only) and then boot that image and TFTP the image you actually want on the box. xmodem downloading the code takes a while, as it downloads it into RAM first, and then writes it to the flash sector by sector (or something to that extent) -Brad Ellis CCIE#5796 [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Jim Bond" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message [EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]... > Hello, > > I accidently errased 3620 flash, now it boots to > rommon> everytime. RE: PIX Firewall show connection counters
I am facing the same problem. My exchange server stop receiving mail from outside. When I do an nslookup for my domain from and outside DNS, it gives request time out. When I do clear xlate, it works for sometimes and then stops. I tried upgrading the version to 5.1 but still the same problem. If anybody have a suggestions, it will really help to get rid this headache. Regards, Anan -Original Message- From: Astbury, Phil [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, June 06, 2000 11:21 AM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: PIX Firewall show connection counters We have a similar problem at our site - it seems as if the PIX just stops resolving DNS. Our exchange server is no longer able to send mail externally due to DNS lookup failures. We've looked at all the possibilities, but normally a reboot will fix the problem. We have added extra memory to the PIX, and also upgraded the Firmware - but we can't seem to get to the bottom of this !! If anyone out there has seen this or knows of a potential fix, I would be most grateful of some feedback. regards, Phil -Original Message- From: Apoorva S.Malavia [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 06 June 2000 05:25 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject:Re: PIX Firewall show connection counters I need to see the config on the fw.
