Re: Riddle [7:41491]
I agree with you Chuck. It's very unsecure indeed... However, consider it as one of the certifications' riddle... Too theoretic, but must be solved... It has a solution, and it is ROUTER oriented. No IDS or CSPM included... In case you come up with something let me know... Riddle [7:41491]
Team, I was wondering Is it possible to make a router respond to an access-list blocking, using a custom-made user defined phrase? For example, if we deny telnet from a host we need to reply to him Access-list blocks incoming telnet... ? RE: Disable Telnet [7:41293]
Jeremy, If you enter no login under vty 0 4, then you'll get into the router! login means that the router prompts Password:. no login instructs the router to bypass that, giving you access immediately. Re: How to make Serial 0 up/up without connecting [7:32410]
There is no way you can spoof a serial line to up/up state via configuration... Here is what I did: ! interface Serial1 ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 loopback no keepalive ! Still... Guess I hit the exception!! I tested in on a MC3810 running 12.1(9)! Under the site you gave me it says that the command loopback is modified for that router!!! I'm glad we solved it now. ;-) Best regards Dvass Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=32424t=32410 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re:1 T WIC not working with 3600series router ???? [7:32258]
Hi, WIC 1T works with 3600 series. No question about it... Probably the NM slot on which you put the WIC is faulty. Try putting it on a different slot on the same NM. If it's not working as well, replace the NM. RE: TACACS+ [7:30963]
Hello Edward, In case you use Cisco equipment, there is the line configuration command absolute-timeout . 3640_DialUp#conf t Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z. 3640_DialUp(config)#line 97 126 3640_DialUp(config-line)#absolute-timeout ? Absolute timeout interval in minutes I think this will solve your problem...
