QoS fro VPN connection [7:37534]
Hello, I Have a following problem. I have Cisco 1750 router with vpn ipsec tunnel to PIX ( Central Office) I want to encrypt with IPSEC traffic to Central LAN, but I want traffic destined for inerrnet goes through central PIX too, so I have to tunnel this traffic ( e.g with IPSEC AH) Now I have 2 questions: 1. AM I right, that Pix cannot route the incomming packet out to the same interface, so I need e.g. Proxy in central LAN where traffic destined for internet can go through? 2. Is that any way to set up some QoS for traffic on 1751 router going to central LAN ( give this traffic higher priority than traffic for the internet) Problem is packet going to central LAN and going to the internet via central PIX will have the same IP header (after IPSEC encryprtion) I found a feature called QoS for VPN but this is for 2600 and bigger router Thanks for any help. SNA in CCDP [7:35717]
Hello I'm a little bit confusing about CCDP exam topics. According to the Cisco site there is no SNA on CCDP , also there is no VoIP. In the CID training there is no SNA but there is some VoIP. In the CID book by Birkner ( Cisco Press) there is SNA The question is: What is on the exam? Calls are coming through 2 PRI inerfaces
Hello There is a following problem: I have AS5300 server with two PRI ports. He has two pools of dial-in users which are calling two different telephone number. Each of two telephone number is associated with different PRI link. I'm using TACACS+ for authorization and callback connections. The problem is: If one of analog users is calling to the server, he is using phone number assigned to one of two PRI links and this call is coming to the server through specified PRI link. Unfortuately when server is trying to make callback connections to the user, thhis call is not going through the same PRI link. First callback call is going through first PRI, second outgoing call is going through second PRI, next one through first PRI again, and so on. How can I specify that if incoming call is coming through PRI number 1, the callback call should be done through the same PRI interface number 1 ? STP question
Hello I'm a little bit confused about STP calculation process I know that switches sends BDPU frames to a special multicast address "to all bridges". What is it? And next question? Are these messages sent only to next bridge - I mean if the neighbour bridge receive multicast BDPU frame is that sent to next bridges or the bridge is looking to this BDPu and comparing it to its own.
