Re: native ios [7:24924]
I've tried on two occasions and it sucks, the box re-booted intermittently and had to revert to the hybrid code. It also has some new commands like port ranges, I guess it's just front-ending the switch CLI Ged Bowey Lopez, Robert wrote in message [EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]... I've been told by a cisco engineer not to use it unless the hardware or software feature is ONLY supported in that code train. The concern is that native IOS has less field exposure and he and others consider it a work in progress. Anyone out there running native code on their networks? Re: 802.1Q on 3Com Cisco
To configure 802.1q VLANs on a SSII3300 you first need to create new VLANs (with unique 802.1q ID), then you can add a port to multiple vlans ( with 802.1d type). The easiest way to configure is via the web front end. Note one vlan can be in native mode on the trunk link !!, also you managment ip is tided to vlan 1 Regards Ged CCNA MNS ""lee"" [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote in message 8mq0i7$vn8$[EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:8mq0i7$vn8$[EMAIL PROTECTED]...
