Currently, you can only have bridge-group per interface or sub-interface. IOS will send CDP packets on physical interfaces as well as port channel interfaces. The Catalyst 4k receiving multiple CDP neighbors will report the message "Not directly connected to switch" for one of the port channel members. Re: How to recover MSFC password
You will have to access the supervisor via the console and issue the command "switch console." From here, you will be able to see the bootup process of the MSFC and can issue a break sequence to put the MSFC into the rommon mode. The Cat1900 was developed before the dot1q spec was completed and the hardware components were not available at the time to support dot1q. Keep in mind, by default the switch will not tag the Native VLAN which is VLAN 1 by default. You will need to adjust the configuration of the router accordingly.
