Re: CID help
According to the suggestions of the Cisco groupstudy, the Cisco Internetwork Design of Cisco Press is good of CID exam. I am preparing CID with this book, and also use Robert Padjen's Cisco Internetwork Design Study Guide of Sybex to complete the study. Re: bgp questions, the diffrence of route-map,distribute-list,filter-list?
distribute-list is used to exchange the routing information between two different routing protocols. While route-map is an advanced feature to redistridute routes or to subject packets to policy routing. For example, you can define two default gateways in one router by using route-map and policy routing. questions about CLSC
Hello all, I'm preparing for the CLSC exam and want to pass it in June. I have 3 questions about this exam. 1. There are 85 exam objectives for CLSC 1.0. Should I well understand all of them? In the exam, are there questions about FDDI, LANE, Catalyst 1900/2820 and Catalyst 3000? 2. Does someone know any URLs for CCDP or CLSC sample questions? 3. How many questions for how much time in this exam? What is the passing score? Thanks in advance. Re: CLSC Help needed
Omer, I asked the questions about CLSC to Ciscogroupstudy several days ago. The Dave's answer is helpful. Here is his email. --- Sophie, The test is one hour long with ~70 questions with a passing score of 790. I took it about a month ago. The CLSC Exam Certification Guide from Cisco Press is an excellent guide for this exam OR you can study from the official CLSC class student manual. The exam is product intensive so know the 1900, 2820, 3000, and 5000 switches (ie. backbplane speed, ports, modules supported, etc.) I was really upset at Cisco since this is supposed to be a "technical" exam and not a "sales" exam. Anyway, there are a few questions on ATM LANE. Know your components (LECS, LES, BUS, LECs). Know the FDDI modules. There are a few "show" and "set" command questions, duplex/simplex questions, some hardware components questions (ie. ASIC, SAMBA, PHOENIX, etc.). These questions are pretty general and not too detailed. You cannot go back to questions on the test for review...which sucks. I finished the test in 21 minutes with a 860. Catalyst 5000 question
Hi all, I have a question about Catalyst 5000. Catalyst 5000 has 5 slots. Slot 1 is reserved for Supervisor Engine, the other 4 slots can accommodate any line module. But the CLSC Exam Certification Guide says that a max. of three(3) ATM LANE or FDDI modules can be installed. Could anyone tell me why?
