VPDN - ISDN problems [7:53931]

2002-09-23 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

Hi,

Enclosed ISDN CALL HISTORY of showing customers' connect time.

It it disconnects within few seconds. I am 100% sure that there is no ISDN
problem at either end.

Sometimes the connect time ranges from 5 minutes to 30 minutes.

This problem happens daily.

Also enclosed the error log for then customer widia saying "remote host
closed this session ". What does it mean ?

Is the customer router at central location 'disconnecting' the remote
location? Or is the link getting snapped due to network congestion?

TIA,

Sujal

RE: 9/11 [7:53084]

2002-09-11 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

All that I meant was that let us also remember people who died for their
country. As an example - the Vietnam War, the Kuwait war, etc, for US.

For other countries, it could be the Iran Iraq war, India Pak war, etc.

That's all and now quit pounding me!

Sujal,

No. Today is about remembering the innocent American lives that were lost at
the hands of ruthless terrorists. Those terrorists also thought they were
dying for their country. We will not in any way honor them.

Subject: Problem of upgrading IOS for a router at remote site [7:36954]

Hi group,

I run into a big problem when upgradeing IOS for a router at remote
site. I used "copy tftp: flash:" command on a Cisco 2620 router via
telnet. It first erased the existing IOS from the flash and then start
to copy the image from my tftp server, which is also running on my
laptop. But the router will close the telnet session after certain
period of idle time, and surprisingly close the tftp session as well. It
ends up that the router's flash memory has no valid IOS stored!

There is no technical staff on that remote site, and it is more than a
thousand KMs away so I couldn't use a console cable to directly attach
to it. I repeated the above several times, watched those "!" going
on until the telnet session closed, and have to pray that there is no
power surge happened to that router before I find a solution!

Anyone faced this problem before? Please help!

Tony

NM 2V [7:33166]

2002-01-24 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

Hi,

On a 3640 router, I have put an NM 2V with 2 VIC FXS cards.

These voice cards give a problem when they're BOTH in the module in that the
router freezes or the voice card doesn't disconnect.

Independently they work beautifully.

Any thoughts on this?

TIA

FXS Card [7:17816]

2001-08-29 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

Hi,

Can I use an FXS card on an analog EPABX? I had a customer who is using it
successfully but another customer tried it out and the card blew.

Any thoughts on this?

TIA

ISDN TA [7:9741]

2001-06-24 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

Hi,

I need to install a Zyxel ISDN TA to the serial port of the 2501 router.

How can I configure it do dial automatically when it senses 'interesting
traffic'?

Any thoughts on this?

TIA,

Sujal

1603 router [7:3165]

2001-05-04 Thread Sujal G. Ajmera

Hi,

In the Cisco documentation manual, it doesn't mention that WIC-2T can be
used but it does say that WIC-1T can be used.

Any thoughts on this?

TIA

Hi. Is it better to take this exam than all three 640-503/504/505?

Has anyone taken it?

Any input is appreciated!

Thanks!
