All, Can I use a 3640's flash to hold a 2500's image and then tftp that image to a 2500? The 2500 and the original tftp server are more hops apart than the 3640. Anybody done this before? Thanks. Re: 3548 vlan configuration
The CLI on a 3548 is more like a router than the 5500 IOS. To the best of my knowledge at the CLI you have to go into each interface to assign it to a Vlan. A pain when there are 48 interfaces on this switch (50 with the Gigabit). Visual Switch Manager could do ports en mass as could Cluster Manager. Talk to the local telco about the type of interface you need. You may need a NT1 between your router's BRI (S/T interface) and the ISDN switch. I would suggest a more logical, heirarchical, and organized method, especially for a large network. I would try and make it consistant with your other addresses. If your E0 IP addresses are say 10.10.200.1/24 then a corresponding L0 IP might be 10.200.x.x/24. Just an idea.
