EM VoIP Problem [7:74717]

2003-09-03 Thread lost in space
Dear Experts,

I am having this problem with EM VoIP. We are using an EM PABX operating
with 4 wire and using immediate signalling. The network are connected via 2
Mbps Leased Line. I can make voice calls from my site to remote site,
however when i asked someone from the remote site to call the other way
around he get busy tones all the time eventough the extension were actually
not bust at that time.

The strange thing is that the remote site can make voice call to my site
only to 2 extension (300 and 400), but when they dial another extension ex:
363, or 369 they get busy tones all the time.

the dial-peer configuration on the remote router are like this

dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern +...
port 1/0/0

dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern +...
port 1/0/1

dial-peer voice 3 voip
destination-pattern +3..
session target ipv4:172.23.1.34(ip address of router's serial interface at
my site).

dial-peer voice 4 voip
destination-pattern +4..
session target ipv4:172.23.1.34 (ip address of router's serial interface at
my site).

Is it the wiring arrangement problem?
i already set up the wiring arrangement based on a reference i got from CCO.

Is it a timeouts parameter problem?

or Is it the EM PABX problem?

Like always, the PABX technician feel that he has done everything correctly.

I am also confident that i have done the configuration correctly.

Anyone has similar experience?

Any idea would be greaty appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

RD

802.1x - Aironet AP- RSA SecureID [7:73092]

2003-07-28 Thread lost in space
Dear Experts,

I am planning for a demo to my client on authenticating aironet client to
RSA token server.
I am not going to use CSACS as my radius server, the rsa ace server will be
my radius server.
I did tried authenticating telnet acces to router without using CSACS, and
it works perfectly fine using RSA ACE server as the radius server. In the
RSA Ace server i add the router as a comm server and i also set the shared
secret key on both devices.

Will it work if configured aironet client authenticate using 802.1x PEAP and
then from the Aironet AP authenticate to RSA Ace server using radius protocol?

i am not sure because i couldnt test the configuration. we used to have an
Aironet AP 350 for a demo unit, however it has been lended to one our client
for a few days.

anyone care to share some experiences?
Thanks in advance

RD

RE: Upgrading Aironet Firmware [7:71496]

with the new image, how many channels do you have?
If you have only 11 channels then you are using FCC, if you have 13 channels
then you are using ETSI.

This difference on channels available for use, is it a software-based, or
hardware-based?

I ve download the image and its MIB.

Upgrading Aironet Firmware [7:71496]

2003-06-26 Thread lost in space
Dear All,

Has anyone try upgrading Wireless Bridge Aironet 350 Firmware?
Would the firmware be different between FCC and ETSI?
I tried to download the firmware from CCO, however the link seems to be
down, and Cisco doesnt seem to differentiate the firmware for FCC and ETSI.

any idea would be appreciated...

permit only even subnets [7:70039]

2003-06-03 Thread lost in space
Dear groupstudy members,

Lets say we have these networks:

192.168.1.0/24
192.168.2.0/24
192.168.3.0/24
192.168.4.0/24
192.168.5.0/24

how do we permit only even subnets and deny all the odd subnets?
what would be the network number and wildcard mask should i use in the
access-list statement?

sorry if this question has been asked before...
