RE: CCNP [7:56288]
I'm 3/4 of the way through, just CIT to go. I did it in this order - routing, switching, remote access but I suggest doing it this way, instead - routing, remote access, switching. The remote access test is kindof an extension of routing, so I would definitely do it after routing. I think the remote access study material, books, etc. assumes you already have learned things like passive interfaces, static routes, etc. If you don't have knowledge of that stuff already, either from studying for the routing test or from real world experience, you'll be at a disadvantage when going for the remote access test and it'll be more difficult than it needs to be. IMHO. If you'd like, you can email me with questions. I'd be happy to answer. Good luck. Re: CCNP [7:56288]
I personally found it the easiest of the four. I think that people that want to find out about infrastructure terminology and interworkings should start here. But in my opinion you willingness to learn determines to some degree at least the ease with which you will adapt to the new material. I personally love configuring ISDN I wouldn't psyche yourself outits all easy...look at the support you have here. > > From: "John Hutchison" > Date: 2002/10/25 Fri PM 01:44:34 EDT > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: CCNP [7:56288] > > I am starting the CCNP bootcamps next week. CCNP [7:56288]
I am starting the CCNP bootcamps next week. I decided, due to scheduling, that it would be best to start with Remote Access. I am hearing, now that I've signed up, that this test is arguably the most difficult. Has anyone recently taken the new exam? Is it really that much more difficult than the others? I personally hate ISDN with a passion, so I'm afraid that I'm going to find this to be true...I appreciate whole-heartedly any input.
