eBay for the Flash. (Haven't looked in awhile. When I bought it was pulls from old 5200s. Worked like a charm.) Just be certain the the Flash is rated for a 2500 and not for 4500/3600. Any computer junk store for the DRAM. -Original Message- From: Elijah Savage III [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 9:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: DB60 back to back [7:48755] Their memory prices are HIGH what is up with that. RE: DB60 back to back [7:48755]
What you really have to check for the 2500 series is that the flash is single sided. You also have to check on the bootroms as well. The older (I think pre 10.2) bootroms won't take third party flash, they only work with the intel stuff. One of your routers should act as DTE end and the other should act as DCE end. To accomplish this you need two cables and as an example you can use one V35-MT (for DTE end) and one V35-FC (for DCE end). ___ Fathalla A.
