My favorite place to get them is www.kg2.com Great prices and great customer service. I also have a 2501 for sale. Just upgraded to a 2610 to do VoIP stuff. If anyone wants the details on the 2501, send an email to me directly Woody -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2002 11:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: OT: Serial DTE/DCE cables [7:35388] Hi, Try this website. Dan's right- either Bob Lowery [EMAIL PROTECTED] or Dave @ http://pacificcable.com/CiscoCables.htm. Bob seems to focus on the DB60's, but Dave can make nearly anything. RE: DCE cables
You have several choices. (1) Buy some DCE cables to mate with your DTE cables. Good side - you can put your routers anywhere in the room as you have 20 feet of cable (more than 6 meters). You can use the DTE cables with external CSU/DSUs if desired. Bad side - you have 20 feet of cable. (2) Purchase back to back cables from cable vendors. They come in various lengths. Makes for a clean setup. Are less expensive than additional cables. I have purchased from two vendors. (a) www.StonewallCable.com shipped quickly. Cables were Cisco Teal in color. Had metal hooded connectors. (b) www.LoDanWest.com 800-541-1001 Talk to Dale Tank.Took three weeks to get cables. Cables were black with molded on connectors. Think that these will be sturdier. They make the cables for Cisco but aren't allowed to sell us the Teal cables with the Cisco name that I have seen in Cisco training labs. Part numbers and prices. (Last number equals length in feet.) I'm quite sure that other lengths are available. 3' 997503M03 $59.52 4' 997503M04 $60.08 6' 990503M06 $61.20 > -Original Message- > From: Chuck Church [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2000 8:36 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: DCE cables > > > All, > > Does anyone know of a good V.35 cable source? DCE cables
All, Does anyone know of a good V.35 cable source? I'm in the process of building my home lab for CCIE, and all the routers I've got have DTE cables. I guess I need some DCE cables to go back-to-back, right? All the routers are 2500s with 60 pin serial. I know I should know this, but I've always dealt with integrated CSU/DSU WICs, so I've never touched a CSU. I checked Black Box, but they only had Cisco brand cables, for about $95 each. I'm looking for something cheaper.
