Re: May I ask you a question?

2000-08-02 Thread Chris Boyd

What routing protocol are you using rip, igrp, eigrp, bgp? If (igrp/eigrp)
on the secondary interface at the customer site add the bandwidth delay
x the router will determine the route

Thanks,

RE: May I ask you a question?

2000-08-02 Thread McCallum, Robert

I don't think you should have to do anything to the customers router. One
serial interface will obviously be up / up and the other will be backup.

Dears everybody.

I have a question of configuring my router.
I have 2 leased lines circuits to customer.
I want to use one line as a primary line, the other as a backup line to a
primary line.
To configure the second line as a backup line, i used "the backup delay,
backup interface serial" interface configuration command.
but, how do i do customer's router?
i will appreciate for your reply.

Thanks.

Dears everybody.

I have a question of configuring my router.
I have 2 leased lines circuits to customer.
I want to use one line as a primary line, the other as a backup line to a

To configure the second line as a backup line, i used "the backup delay,
backup interface serial" interface configuration command.
but, how do i do customer's router?
i will appreciate for your reply.

Thanks.
