Re: May I ask you a question?
What routing protocol are you using rip, igrp, eigrp, bgp? If (igrp/eigrp) on the secondary interface at the customer site add the bandwidth delay x the router will determine the route Thanks, Chris Boyd Network Support Alex Lee, Inc. 120 4th Street SW Hickory, NC 28601 (828) 323-4103 http://www.alexlee.com - Original Message - From: "kwon, jun young" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Newsgroups: groupstudy.cisco To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2000 7:15 AM Subject: May I ask you a question? > Dears everybody. > > I have a question of configuring my router. > I have 2 leased lines circuits to customer. > I want to use one line as a primary line, the other as a backup line to a > primary line. > To configure the second line as a backup line, i used "the backup delay, > backup interface serial" interface configuration command. > but, how do i do customer's router? > i will appreciate for your reply. > > Thanks. > > > -- > Kwon, Jun Young > > CENTRAL DATA COMMUNICATION O&M OFFICE > Internet O&M Division, Seoul, KOREA > TEL : +82-2-766-5901~2 > E-mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > > ___ > UPDATED Posting Guidelines: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/guide.html > FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com > Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ UPDATED Posting Guidelines: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/guide.html FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: May I ask you a question?
I don't think you should have to do anything to the customers router. One serial interface will obviously be up / up and the other will be backup. -Original Message- From: kwon, jun young [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 02 August 2000 12:16 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: May I ask you a question?
