New to list

[Dan Henry]

Hello All,
I've not posted here before, but appreciate all the thoughtful
questions and answers that have been posted the last couple of months as
I've been lurking. The tips I've picked up have been helpful in
attaining CCNA and CCDA (just yesterday). Thanks and keep up the good
work.

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the list.  There are a lot of good engineers on this list so I am
sure we will all answer any questions you may have.

With regard to the WAN Switching certs, I have not seen much activity on
this list for them.  People seem to focus on the the Routing and Switching
side of things.  That of course doesnt mean we dont have any WAN Switching
people so go ahead and ask your questions - the worst that happens is you
get no answer.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained...  ;-)

New to list

Hi everyone-
   My name is Dave. I'm a systems engineer in Chicago working for a large
VAR.
   I've completed the R/S CCNA and CCDA, and have passed the Support exam
(when Cisco offered it as a beta). I'm getting ready to take the remaining 3
for the CCNP, then go for the CCDP. I *may* be going for the CCIE by the end
of the year (keeping fingers crossed!).
   Just wanted to say "Hi" and that I'm looking forward to learning as much
as possible from the list. I do have a question, though ... does this list
also cover the WAN switching certs? I've passed some of those exams, too.
