PIX training...
Can someone recommend a good recource for learning the PIX firewall. I heard someone say something about a cdrom from cisco, but I haven't seen anything like that. Thanks, Jon

Cisco's MCNS (Managing Cisco Network Security) class fits the bill--there's about a day-and-a-half on the PIX "Derrenbacker, L. You might want to look on CCO for Cisco Training Partners. globalknowledge.com and mentortech.com come to mind. Asolta sp? may be another. Hi Anthony et al, I hope you found the course informative and useful as an introduction to = the Pix firewall. If you need a more comprehensive view of the Pix = firewall, I believe there are 3 day courses offered by some of the = larger training houses in Dublin. I've attached a copy of the Powerpoint presentation of the Pix training = course, I'm hoping to upgrade the material soon (when time permits) to = include failover and a bit on VPN's, when I get this done I will e-mail = the updated Powerpoint presentation to yourselves.
