I should be more specific I think. Im not even getting the modem to dial. I think my problem is with the chat script. I checked 56k.com and still have no idea how to write the script (yep, Im a complete newbie with modems) I believe I have the DIP switches set correctly now (3 and 8 down for the USR modem). The initialization string that the cisco website says to use is AT&F1S0=1 while 56k.com says AT&F1 should be fine. Maybe that narrows down the problem Im having.
