You might also like to check out: http://code.google.com/p/logstash/ - its design follows a pipe paradigm which leads to it being highly intuitive and flexible. The web interface isn't as point and clickey as others but imo, that's not a bad thing. It would be nice if it could take SNMP traps as an input too, but I guess currently lacking as SNMP isn't Simple. -pts On Fri, Feb 11, 2011 at 8:08 PM, Brian Spade bitkr...@gmail.com wrote: Thanks everyone, it looks like loganalyzer is the only free one. If you are willing to spend some time with it, you can try Splunk. Its much more than just a syslog viewer and needs some playing around with but its quite flexible. It's free for up to 500MB/day of indexing data if i am not mistaken. cheers, hristo On 11/02/2011 10:00, arulgobinath emmanuel wrote: Hi, php-syslog-ng I'm not sure this is the best but open source seems to be ok. http://code.google.com/p/php-syslog-ng/ regards, gobinath On Fri, Feb 11, 2011 at 10:54 AM, Brian Spadebitkr...@gmail.com wrote: Hi cisco-nsp'ers, Sorry for the non-Cisco question, but can anyone recommend a good open source (free) syslog viewer/GUI?
