I don't think so, and that's what makes it so strange.

I saw this effect when using wget on http://clojure.org/ but I can't explain
it either.

Re: The Website / Wikispaces

2011-10-12 Thread Chas Emerick
Wikispaces does some strange https redirects through its own domain for session
handling. If your agent doesn't react as it expects, you can end up in all
sorts of strange places (including having no way to get to clojure.org at all
if your internet connection disallows https entirely, i.e. some less reputable
free mobile phone tethering apps).

Re: The Website / Wikispaces

2011-10-12 Thread Sean Corfield
Just to swim against the flow: I've never seen confusion between
clojure.org and wikispaces so I've been watching this thread with
interest and bewilderment. Can someone provide a tried and true
navigation path that shows this problem? If it's as common as this
thread would suggest, I'm really surprised I haven't run into it since
I browse both sites a lot...

Re: The Website / Wikispaces

2011-10-11 Thread mmwaikar
It has happened to me too a couple of times (I can't explain why, though).
However, I've done *pin as app tab* for the clojure docs tab (this
functionality is available in latest versions of Firefox), so even if I
reopen FF, I don't get this problem often.

Yes, and I also frequently get the Wikispaces homepage after hitting the
browser's back button (while surfing through the pages at clojure.org).

The Website / Wikispaces

When using clojure.org does anybody else quite frequently get the
Wikispaces homepage instead? This seems to happen most often when I
start Firefox because I always have a clojure.org tab open. Any idea
what's causing this?
