Re: [CMLHope] Thyroid issues

I do take the levothyroxine. It puts my numbers in order, at least on paper. I
hope you are seeing an endocrinologist. Yes? A thyroid specialist? I do not
know why it would make your numbers worse? it should not make it worse. It
might not work well...at first, until meds are adjusted if it's the right
medication at the right dose for  you. If your numbers are worse and you are
not feeling well...definitely get to a specialist. They can physically check
your neck, perhaps do an ultrasound..other more advanced diagnostic thyroid
blood tests etc...maybe they need to rule out other issues..
Hope this is the year that you find some more answers and feel better!!!
Thinking of you...
18/s Beth

Thanks Beth for your note to us. As we all are above ground today, it's a great
day as Marty used to say. I hope everyone's holiday time was precious with
family. The noise at our get-together was deafening! With 33 in attendance it
was lots of fun. Our Secret Santa time was fantastic, too. I got an ab-worker
which could help me exercise...if I pick it up.
All is well if we don't talk about our ills! Be blessed and enjoy the New Year

Hi allMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. I am ending the year fighting
another disease: thyroid. At least that’s what they think it is. Lost about 30
pounds: losing hair-sweating for no reason and more. I can’t take the meds as
they make it worse. No matter what-fight on. -- -- [CMLHope]A support
