Re: Stus-List Oft overlooked source of head odor

2019-05-26 Thread Marek Dziedzic via CnC-List
If you tee the drain from the head sink to the head intake hose, you would be
able to pour AF into the sink and _pump_ it through the head pump, and all the
inner working of the head. It would winterise the head properly.

One thing I read from Peggy Hall the Head Mistress is that pouring antifreeze

think it may depend on the design of the particular head.

Hi Tom

I have a similar problem with the vanity sink in the head and I've
concluded that the tap washers need to be replaced especially the hot. Hope
to see you at Rendezvous

Stus-List Slow leak

2019-05-26 Thread Tom Buscaglia via CnC-List
I have a slow leak in one of the pressurized water lines to the vanity sink in
the forward stateroom. It’s not at the ends and just drips enough to
short-cycyle the pressure pump and the bilge pump every 10-20 minutes

I checked the connections under the sink and they’re both dry. So, I have
concluded that one of the lines from the splitter near the pump and the sink
must be wearing through and I’ll need to replace both. Now my question...

Is there any way to replace these old grey lines using the existing type hose
and connectors? If so, sources. If not replacements, without needing to redo
the entire vessel.

Thanks!
