Remember too, if the 27 site is archived, somebody has to pay for the 
domain registration and hosting and also do some serious editing.

2. Create a C 27 facebook page. In essence the FB page takes over

dedicated 27 Mark V FB page  this new one could be one focusing 
on Marks I through IV. I've offered to help out as an Admin of a FB 
page.
3. BEFORE the 27 Association site is archived, it be edited to

You can always reply to the last thread in the forum which discusses the
closure. David might see it there ... but the email notification doesn't
work anymore (old old software!). If you're not a member I could pass along
a message by posting again there.

David has been looking for someone to take over the site since 2017! With
no takers. Seems like an issue with the domain name expiring was the last
straw.

It is a shame that the C 27 site is going to shut down.  There is a 
tremendous amount of information there.
