Yes. I puzzled over this for 2 seasons, and experimented with ineffective
solutions until I f inally, seriously, cleaned and lubricated the head swivel
while catching up on maintenance stuff. I did not connect this with the
wrapping at all as
It had always seemed to turn very freely however it turns out it was binding
under heavy load.
I had checked it but could not replicate without the sail set so I could never
actually see the cause. It was Dangerous at times and just a real hassle other
times.
After cleaning and lubricating the swivel, it spins even more freely, a
noticeable difference once you have a comparison.
Hasn’t jammed or wrapped since.

Hi Danny

I once sold a complete roller furling assembly off a previous boat. The one
thing I learned the hard way is that Loc Tite is used when the foils are
assembled. Don’t forget to apply heat to the set screws before removal or it
may not be so pretty.

I used UPS for the shipping. Sent along with a RF headsail so shipping was
something like $150 at the time.

OK so, Steve Mallet was the first to respond and he's looking for the lower
stuff.

I'm in Rehoboth Massachusetts.

I'm sure the foils can be shipped. Just need a longer box and its all about
cost from there.

The thing is still completely assembled at the boatyard, in a rack, currently
in Barrington RI. I'll have to try and get over there and start pulling it
apart.

Although, time is always the issue, My boat is now in Mattapoisett Ma in the
completely opposite direction.

I'll see what I can do about getting it apart. No one seems to be in a big
hurry, would these just be spares to have on hand?

I think the first thing to do is get the thing broken down and out of the
boatyard. I'll keep you all posted on how that goes.

37R is for the racing model of that line.

You had:

37+

37 XL

37 R

Note that they are all 40 foot boats, the fun part of a decision to stretch out the hull and add more stuff but keep the name.  And most marinas know the model is a 40 so not
 much savings per foot there.

I owned a 37+ center board, she was fast as well, pointing was not so bad since the CB was actually a large stainless disk that dropped down, not a traditional dagger board.

There were shoal keels and deep fin versions as well.

The R is the race circuit model and yes it is a fast boat.  Nice interior but no aft berth, it was a racing setup.  Mid ship berths etc?..

The XL was the blended version.  Had all the creature comforts, taller rig, similar to the R, but setup was more cruiser vs. racer.

Great line, just the dang  C window problem but all fixable?.

I moved on to a 121, love C, wish they would magically make one more new run of the lines??..
