Stus-List Re: help with hull numbers
To Stu or anyone who can help. Please remove our e-mail address from your contact list. We haven’t received your mail in a long time and now we are getting all of it. We sold our C&C 35 last April after 20 years of good sailing. My husband enjoyed your mail but because of health issues doesn’t read it anymore. Please take this address off your list blackk...@verizon.net Thanks Grace Black From: dwight veinot via CnC-List Sent: Friday, October 8, 2021 5:37 AM To: Stus-List Cc: dwight veinot Subject: Stus-List Re: help with hull numbers I think you got it right. The C&C 30 MKI was a very popular design and my experience she is one helluva good boat. The company was turning out a lot of boats in 1974. My 35MK II hull 242 was also a 1974 model. I am not sure if there was a 1973 35MKII. Your 30 is one of the stiffest designs in the C&C line and slippery too. Good accommodations below as well. Congrats you got a good one. From what I’ve googled the “0474” tells me she was built in April of 1974, the “CCY30” tells me she’s a C&C 30 mk1, and the “281” says she’s hull number 281 ??? April 1974 seems a little early in the production run to have made 280 boats. Can anyone help me decode the HIN? Re: Stus-List Email List or Forum
I would prefer the list format, kind of used to it after ten plus years Ken Black 35-3 From: Stu via CnC-List Sent: Friday, March 13, 2015 5:32 PM To: C&C Email List Subject: Stus-List Email List or Forum Recently, some of our subscribers have indicated that they would like to have a “Forum” similar to “cruisersforum” or “sailnet” instead of an email list (like this one). PROS: 1. Eliminate the costs related to the email list 2. Follow a thread easier without having to read multiple emails. 3. Easier to find past, archived messages and threads. 4. Possible addition of public and private photo albums. 5. Easily moderated by more than one person. Threads can be deleted and undesirable subscribers blocked. 6. No more 20-30 emails a day. Visit the site at your convenience and view the latest topics since your last visit. CONS: 1. Forum software runs from free to around $250 depending on additional enhancements. 2. Might (???) require additional disk space and bandwidth on hosting site. () 3. Installation – I’ve done it before and it does take some time. And a bit more time involved to get it tweeked to perfection. Bottom line – would you rather have a FORUM or continue using this list? It does not matter to me.
