Re: Stus-List C 35-1 Hatchboards

My boat came with a double hatchboard set made out of white HDPE or Starboard
with a Nicro solar fan built into the upper board. I think it actually keeps
the interior odors down by circulating air while the boat is closed up during
the week. I can take pictures next time I am there. Dave

Nice work Neil!

This summer I fabbed a new set of hatchboards for Grenadine, out of smoked
plexiglas. Pics at
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GFqSU41Bv0cfXa5BV-eX9rTkK0avRAEe
.

I wanted the smoked plexiglas for the dark grey color to match my new black
sail cover, plus to be able to see out when below.

As a special touch I drilled upward-slanting ventilation holes in the pattern
of the C star on either end of the cove stripe.

Cost me ~$200 for the material, plus an hour or two drinking beer and operating
table saw and drill press in my crew member Jerrod Milton’s wood shop.

Cheers,

Shipping cost only.  My guess would be $20-25?

I can collect after we ship them.  Just send me and address.

I hate to see such nice teak just sit around.  First 35-1 that claims
them (and pays shipping) gets them.

Just before losing Corsair, our Redwing 35 (C 35-1), I made a set of
teak hatch boards.  They have been sitting in my barn since.  Here are
