Mike,
I was advised of the return policy only specifically today. Yes I do
recognize that I purchased the wrong items. Yep, shit happens. I'm not
perfect. However, I would have had to return the product even if I had the
correct engine. 2 of the 3 pipes where not made correctly. Torrenson HAS
to return them to yanmar. I even agreed that 20% restock on the 1
correctly made pipe would've been acceptable despite giving forewarning and
not being advised otherwise. Torrenson indicated that they are going to be
forced to hold on to the products until another buyer comes along. Then it
will be that customer's problem too.
I'm sorry, how is that pound foolish? I wasn't demanding a return without
RMA. I wasn't demanding a return of a product that was damaged or used or
even not in the original package. I wasn't demanding that they pay for the
return shipping.
