Hi José,

The simplest way to get a basic app up and running is
by putting it under mount.

As for simple examples... Without wanting to sound
like I am fobbing you off (;-)) there is plenty of
stuff in the documentation and sample apps (e.g. the
Hello World stuff) that demonstrates basic principles.
You can also still access my idiots guide stuff at
http://www.pigbite.co.uk/ctwig/index.htm, which does
have some basic examples. This was in the main docs
but needs some rework so is not there at the mo.

Let me know how you get on and if you need any more
help.

Best regards

Jeremy

k, back to the basics then.

I'm using an older version of Cocoon (CVS build of 14/5/2002). There's not
much changed to the portal since then, except it moved to a sub sitemap.

Here's the pipeline that's called first:

Here you see that first an action is called that checks whether the user is
logged in. We are going to skip this one for now as that's not what we are
looking for. After this you see that the portal.xml file is called and
it's transformed with teh TO-html.xsl file. Opening that file and lookign
for the

And there is your conversion from teh pageset to the frameset tag.

Does this answer your question?

I'm not sure I get your last question, but the layout can be changed as
much as you like. Just make sure the browser get correct (x)html.

Bert

RE: [PHP-DB] Print data

2002-10-24 Thread José Moreira
Hello, i think taht one of the ways could be to serialize the to-print page in PDF or
else hoping that a Acrobat reader plugin will open the data ... or in case of network
printers to print connecting to the printer

Yeah, I knew I could go into Page Setup and remove the strings manually. I
was hoping you had devised a way to do it from the PHP code somehow. I know
that it's not really possible for a web page to control anything outside the
DOM, but it's a problem I've been presented with a few times in the past and
was hoping that there was finally a solution.

Later,
Rich
