[Compiz] [Bug 1306550] Re: Wrong mouse-coordinates in the window after minimize/maximize of after return from fullscreen
I got this bug in Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit (Unity). For instance, after this problem appears, I can no longer click on Open new tab button in Firefox (it opens the Clock/Calendar indicator instead if I have more tabs open in Firefox and the Open new tab button is bellow the clock indicator). It seems to only happen if the window was maximised like Pavel Fischer said above. If I restore the window (after this bug causes the problem), the mouse resumes working correctly. If I disable Show live previews of windows in the Switcher (in CompizConfig Settings Manager - Ubuntu Unity Plugin - Switcher), this bug disappears (or I did not encounter it yet). But with Show live previews of windows in the Switcher, Hot corners no longer works after a reboot (I found the solution to disable Show live previews of windows in the Switcher in order to keep Hot Corner working after a reboot). I have Hot Corners set (with Unity Tweak Tool) to Window Spread for the lower right corner. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1306550 Title: Wrong mouse-coordinates in the window after minimize/maximize of after return from fullscreen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1306550/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 1306550] Re: Wrong mouse-coordinates in the window after minimize/maximize of after return from fullscreen
Correction for my comment (#12): This statement was wrong: For instance, after this problem appears, I can no longer click on Open new tab button in Firefox (it opens the Clock/Calendar indicator instead if I have more tabs open in Firefox and the Open new tab button is bellow the clock indicator). The corrected statement: When this bug appears, the registered click is somewhere bellow and to the right, compared to the displayed mouse cursor position (not above, like I said in my previous comment). So , if I want to click on something, I must place the mouse above and to the left of the intended mouse click target.

[Compiz] [Bug 1315167] [NEW] Cross-workspace app switching from launcher is broken after resume from sleep
Public bug reported: When I resume my computer from sleep there is only one problem I've found. Otherwise sleep and resuming from it work fine. To reproduce: 1. Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit, all up to date. Enable multiple workspaces (for example I use 2x2). Start some applications on more than one workspace. 2. put computer to sleep (suspend). Not hibernate, just regular suspend, using power menu at upper right corner. 3. resume. 4. Using the launcher, click an app that is running but is not on the current workspace. Expected: the display switches to the workspace containing the chosen app. Actual: the display does not switch just by clicking an app that is currently running on a workspace other than the current one. Everything else works, you can switch workspaces by keyboard or by using the workspace switcher if present on the launcher. And after you have switched workspace manually like this, the normal expected behavior resumes. In summary, *if it is the first thing you try to do after resume from suspend* the clicking of an app in the launcher when that app is running on a workspace other than the one currently visible will not result in switching the visible workspace. Thank you for any action on this. It is not a big problem so I don't need a workaround. But one hopes it will be fixed in time. [Compiz] [Bug 1315209] [NEW] Compiz freeze
Public bug reported: What I was doing while it happened: Taking a screenshot using default application, alt + prnt scrn, of a libreoffice drawing. Mouse responsive, system still functional. Able to switch to TTY 6 and killall compiz, which then automatically respawned. Sometimes it doesn't automatically respawn, at which point I need to restart the system, which causes me to lose work. Compiz freezes during other activities, but this is the first freeze I've reported. I can't pin down a specific behavioral trigger, other than it freezes very definitively upon user input (e.g., clicking a button in a dialogue box, taking a screenshot, switching desktop workspaces, etc). [Compiz] [Bug 1315209] Re: Compiz freeze
Another interesting artifact: all open windows unable to obtain focus after compiz respawn. Only able to interact via mouse. Must close and reopen to regain window focus. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315209 Title: Compiz freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1315209/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
