top not work right - can't be. gkrellm look better- more real and
gtop say RSS is ~35M.
Look like top is giving "resident", not "resident set size", for
RSS and include what has been swapped out.

Just for reference:
moz 0.8.1 on LM7.2 does _not_ have any of these pbs. It run
really good(well, relatively speaking of course for an Alpha)
Some of last week's nightlys of moz did have these pbs.
Galeon will not run with moz-0.8.1; it say it _must_ have moz
0.8.
The Moz & Galeon used here are not from cooker src.rpm.

Fred:
I got error sometime back from Galeon 10.2 that state it _must_
have moz 0.8. It will not run on LM7.2 if moz 0.8.1 is used so
it might be Galeon that has bugs.
Moz 0.8.1 run great on LM7.2(i know that not help cooker much:(
). Mail/News is still flakey & unstable but movemail works good
to get 'local' mail. 0.8.1 is better than 0.8 here. Nightlys are
very bad since new XUL; many parts broke.

This make no sense to throw away better for worse to try to make

Skipstone too! don't skip Skipstone! It is fast.

Menu: View/Apply Themes/Get New Theme ==> x.themes.org

click on 'quick' for theme; mozilla installs for you.duh?
'ice' is nice if you like gnome.

moz uses *.xpi files to install themes so not any ''mozilla''
theme will do 'cause some so-called mozilla themes are _not_ xpi;
in fact they are just regular _desktop_ themes and the 'mozilla'
part of name means designer added data to the theme to make it
moz compatible...supposedly. manual install is not as much fun +
changes desktop.

> > A good project would be a wrapper-theme to use directly the
> active gtk theme.

moz does this! albeit not very well yet.:( ->it applies the
desktop gtk theme from the ~/.gtkrc file to "Classic" skin but
does not apply correctly; do not work with 'Modern' or other
applied themes;you _must_ use "Classic" moz skin for 'Desktop'
theme to be applied to moz.
set moz theme type to "Classic"; update your theme (i.e.,.gtkrc
file) to the theme you want to use on your desktop and restart
moz(not supposed to have to do that but gtk theming still broke a
bit).
The 'theme' is applied to moz; if not, your permissions might be
too tight on ~/.gtkrc file. Works here!!!

> You can check at themes.org, they have a Mozilla section..

Have to use http://www.themes.org/themesearch.phtml but these
are _desktop_ themes with moz addins + old ones are not good for
moz 'cause moz theming has changed a lot in last year. Best to
goto x.themes.org and get one for version of moz running.

> Be carefull, themes don't install correctly as standard users

nightlys don't 'apply' very good as root either unless restart
moz.

> with
> current mozilla package. I hope it will be corrected with next
> version of Mozilla (scheduled next week).
> Next version should also better comply with gtk theme..

please, what bug\fix say this?

it pretty messed up right now.:(
moz update wrong display sections for 'classic' or update correct
but use wrong data... or whatever; it can give 'classic' a
multi-colored look like a chameleon.
Too bad cause 'Classic' could take the same theme as the rest of
the desktop and look _real_ purty - better than 'modern',imo.
