The CVS of SPECS and contrib-SPECS do not seem to be updating, when things are posted in changelog, they do not show up in SPECS. When trying to run cvs upd on SPECS dir I get cvs server: cannot open current directory: Too many open files which I believe is on the server side. but it works when I do 1 dir at a time. Jorg

Why did mdk make the decision to put kde3 beta1 in contrib instead of cooker? kde2 beta1 was put into cooker as soon as it came out. kde3 beta 1 is far more stable then kde2 beta 1 was.. Maybe I just don't understand mandrake logic.. Jorg

when you do a / filesystem is reiserfs touch /forcefsck the reboot, it does a filesystem check on the other filesystems, but does nothing on the rootfs. using -22mdk initscripts never runs a check on / filesystem Jorg

Kmail 1.3.1 from latest cooker gets to 99% of getting mail, then just hangs at 99% and does not get mail again until closed and re-opened, then it gets mail again up to 99% and same thing. Jorg

If I use the -a option then cd1 is 741meg, cd2 is 680, cd3 is 618 and then the script bombs saying that cd1 is to big. mkcd2 version is 2.4.3, from 9/18/01 cooker sync. Once Kmail receives all the mail the first time, it stops trying to get the mail. I have it setup to receive mail every one minute and it does not do it. I am running the latest cooker 9/17/01 fresh install
