Just for confirmation that bug seems to be fixed.
I just installed RC 2 and updated that to current cooker and Menudrake worked.
(Earlier the problem occured both with GNOME and KDE)

  a) open menudrake
  b) chooce any of the items in the menu

  d) unselect "open in console" checkbox in menu-item 1
  e) select menu-item 2
  f) re-select menuitem 1
  g) --> "open in console" is again the "selected state" for the menu-item 1

I have full cooker installed with the newest kernel.

bug 2 is a duplicate of bug 1459.

bug 1 is probably caused by KDE (I guess you are running KDE) not reloading menu
automatically when they are regenerated.. This problem should be fixed with
menudrake 0.7.3

This menudrake bug is still available in the current MenuDrake.

Additional comment: I have locale set to finish, so all my menus are also
translated to finish. Not sure what would happen if I had locale set to english.
