Well, it is the first release done by Dave 'Captain Printman' Camp and I think he has forgotten to put menu entry in the GNOME menu (and I forgot to put it in Mdk menu..).. Actually, I think it would be nice if Mandrake provided a single app to allow big companies (ok, SME's > 100) to apply corporate identity (login manager, bootsplash, lilo, etc etc). And IMHO splash screens for GNOME/KDE should get as much (or more) attention than bootsplash, they are hopefully seen more often. And the same thing applies to things like the cartoon dragon on KDE logout ...
