I should change this message, I didn't want to say "installing package ..." in
the same way there is a "skipping package ..."

If anybody has an idea about this, it would be nice, IANAGSEM.

François.

Just curious, but why is it telling me this in the first place? I've
got:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mythtv]$ rpm -qa|grep kernel
kernel-doc-2.4.21-1mdk
kernel-2.4.21-0.rc1.1mdk-1-1mdk
kernel-source-2.4.21-1mdk

already installed. Why would I even be offered SMP or any of the
other kernel variants?

Another question: why was this included also?
"
would install instead of upgrade package
kernel-2.4.21-0.rc1.1mdk-1-1mdk.i586
"

It's _already_ installed per the rpm -qa above?

You may try directly cvs else ;-)

$ export CVS_RSH=ssh
$ export CVSROOT=:ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cooker
$ cvs co soft/perl-URPM soft/urpmi
  with password "cvs".

then for perl-URPM, just type ./build_rpm inside directory.
and for urpmi "make rpm"

Try them directly after that :-)

François.

This is a somewhat problematic writing of perl code from me, but anyway this is
fixed now (urpmi-4.4-2mdk, as it is written, perl-URPM-0.91-2mdk is out too).

François.

More weirdness: it tried to install twice, with the second time
failing because it had already installed the first time.
