I forgot to look at the creation date before deleting it, so I can't even give you that indication. I can't recreate it, anyway. So I guess the problem is solved. I wish I could leave you a home directory on my machine, but it's behind a firewall and I doubt you could access it ;-) =-= kk1 _ Free email with personality! kk1 wrote: > >>> Why did I suddenly have an /home/mbadaire directory? Matthias, When I first saw this, I had no idea who mbadaire might be, and maybe other people had the same problem, which prompted the suggestions (I think) to search the rpms. Then I noticed that your name is Mattias Badaire, and now I'm wondering if you've ever used your first initial and last name to respond to any question on the computer. I suspect you are mbadaire -- I don't know what you did to get a directory named after you. (Although, if you are using mbadaire as a user name, it is normal for the system to create a directory named /home/mbadaire.) If you are still puzzled, we probably need more clues to try to help.
