Second, no way I put galeon unstable branch on cooker..

Just for fun, I grabbed the 1.3.1 tarball, the 1.0.3 srpm from cooker,
bzip'd the tarball, and just changed the version in the spec file.  The
rpm built clean, and seems to be working just fine.  Not that I'm
suggesting this be done for 8.2; I'm sure it's too late in the game.

Galeon follows the same version system as the kernel, ie 1.0 is stable,
1.1 is devel, and 1.2 is supposed to be released this week.  I was
talking to some of the galeon developers the other day, and they pretty
much refuse to talk about 1.0.x anymore... supposedly 1.3.1 is *much*
more stable.

Are the popups enabled in the settings menu?
I think they are disabled by default.
