Alright, if you're not convinced yet that this is a good Idea I'm going to give you an example. I work at a training center as the Head Admin. We teach classes on Oracle, Networks, Graphic Design, as well as Security. (www.kdc-sd.com) Most classes are not a problem but when we have classes like Sniffer which is a very powerful network security application for windows we run into difficulties. We run DHCP server from a Red Hat Gateway, and all internet is then routed to a single hub which all the classrooms as well as our sales offices connect. Classes like Sniffer tend to use what our sales managers are emailing and where they are surfing on the web as in class examples. (Not Good) I have looked into possibly setting up a reverse firewall that would keep classes from viewing what the sales employees are doing. But, because classroom setups often change and differant ports are used by differant software I've decided against it. Which brings me back to why having Internet Connection Wizard be able to handle more than 2 eth cards would be helpful. We support: - several network cards. - host as firewalls/gateways/router. Whan else do you want? transaparent proxy? The reason I want to be able to do this is because... I have an extra eth card and already have a network going from my 2nd card to a hub (in another room) With the extra card I would like to be able to plug in my laptop to my main gateway computer (which I actually use). I understand that I simply could plug into the hub but for me it's in another room an would mean a 25 ft long cable. Also, I think businesses would really like this feature. I suspect he may be trying to make a poor man's hub (or switch or router or whatever).
