Ta. This is much more complete than when I last looked. It looks like
getting the Oki4w up-and-running on my system should be possible. I'll try
to provide an RPM if/when I manage it, unless you have plans to integrate it
yourself.

Hi Till,

I don't suppose you've managed to get the OkiPage 4W working with CUPS,
have you? It's a very common winprinter with "partial support" according to
the Printer HOWTO. There's a command-line driver out there that can handle
one page at a time, but trying to get it to work with ghostscript was a
nightmare and I ended up giving up.

I heard something about partial support under CUPS and wondered whether
there was some way of integrating them together. I also noticed a
screenshot from the Mandrake 7.0 (I think) install some time ago that
showed a printer setup dialog with Oki4w included in the list, but it never
actually surfaced in the final version. I presume someone was tinkering
with it at Mandrake.

If it's not going in but you have a workaround, I'd be interested.
