For example no icons before Konqeror, evolution, indeed before the apps. -- y'a un mec qui s'appelle [MAILER-DAEMON] qui arrete pas de me spammer !! ca m'enerve - #linuxfr
Re: [Cooker] Problems with new kde 3.1.93
Sorry, I think you misanderstood what I would say (ah my english ...) : I have access to all configuration items using entries which are presents in "Start->Configuration -> KDE". Kcontrol still doesn't work. I added, as remark, that I had two submenus named "Sytem" : - The first one with "Crypto" and "Passwords" items. - The second one with "Date", "Fonts" and "Paths" items. Hope this is more understandable in this way ;-( ? Sébastien. PS1: The today cooker seems really much more usable than the which of yesterday...be patient ;-) PS2: I forgot to mention that each time I launch an application (or each time an application is launched in background or by another process), I get a "Sorry - Could not find mime type application/octet-stream" message box. Not really important but ... This would work: # kcmshell crypto # kcmshell kdm For anymore, see the /usr/lib/kde3/kcm_(\w+).so files and run kcmshell $1, some should work, some won't. (caveat: I haven't tried this with KDE-3.2 on cooker since it hasn't made it to my cooker due to the fact that new packages are uploaded every day just before our mirror syncs :-(). Regards, Buchan

The problem is known and Laurent is working on it. I Use "Configuration -> KDE" menu entries instead, but I two "System" entries (the first one with "Crypto" and "Passwords", and the second with "Date", "Fonts" and "Paths") and no way to configure kdm. > > Whats up??!
