See with flepied to put some errors as exception in rpmlint. or put in your .rpmlintrc file some thing like: addFilter('usermode setuid-binary /usr/sbin/userhelper root 04755') see Config.py under CVS soft/rpmlint for more real examples. -- Yves Duret [EMAIL PROTECTED] piouk toujours et meme apres !

Hmmm rpmlint is a great tool for quickly finding bugs but just as often it makes mistakes. But if I read those mistakes I know that it's a logical mistake and I don't care anymore. I just pasted them to let the other developpers know I paid attention to them. I am quite used to filtering the interesting errors from silly ones. I hope other people have that wisdom as well :) //Han -- http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanb/software

That's not for me to decide. What about exception in rpmlint (as for suid binaries), or specific comments in spec files for disabling those errors ? -- No matter how many resources you have, it is never enough. -- Murphy's Computer Laws n°1
