Re: [Cooker] evolution bonobo 1.0.8
Ok I fixed the thing by upgrading several lib packages. I don't know wich was the one responsible (probalby libglade ?), but here's the list: imlib, libimlib libglade, libglade-gnome, etc... libgtkxhtml So, evolution now works with bonobo 1.0.8. I had exactly the same problem and downgrading to 1.0.7 solved it. I'm using the ximian evolution snapshots (ftp.ximian.com/pub/evolution-snapshots/redhat-70-i386) and everything else (oaf, orbit, gconf, bonobo, bonobo-conf) is from cooker. I could get the src rpms and recompile every day, but I've never had a problem, so for now I'll take the chance. Anyway, I'm attaching two text files - the one is the output from evolution-mail with bonobo 1.0.8 (evo-mail-bad.txt) and the other is with bonobo 1.0.7 (evo-mail-good.txt). Let me know if you need anything else. Re: [Cooker] evolution bonobo 1.0.8
Ok, I installed bonobo 1.0.8 again, tried it out, and came back to bonobo 1.0.7 to write this mail. Here's the info (my whole system is based on mdk 8.0 and cooker): [root@localhost download]# rpm -Uvh bonobo-1.0.8-1mdk.i586.rpm libbonobo2-1.0.8-1mdk.i586.rpm libbonobo2-devel-1.0.8-1mdk.i586.rpm Preparing...### [100%] 1:libbonobo2 ### [ 33%] 2:bonobo ### [ 66%] 3:libbonobo2-devel ### [100%] [root@localhost download]# oaf-slay The following processes are still running on the system. And then a second one : unable to retrieve message from editor. When I start evolution from a terminal, there is no more output when I click the compose button, so I don't show you the whole output here as it doesn't seem usefull. I tried to run evolution through gdb, there is no output eighter. Strace doesn't show any readable information.
