I'll verify this bug, I had the same problem with kvirc, I uninstalled the mandrake version, and installed the version from the kvirc web site and now it can't find the binary at all. Unable to reproduce on my test machine which is cooker from yesterday.. Matthew, could you try to : -remove your .gnome/X-Chat file -reboot your computer -redo your actions, but run xchat with strace, so we might be able to find were this damn bug is :)) -- Frédéric Crozat MandrakeSoft
